Q: Is this game complicated?
A: Not at all! You snap photos wherever you’re enjoying your favorite brand and send them to Pongr. The more photos you send, the bigger a Fan you are! You start as a Fan, move up to Super Fan status, and finally, #1 Fan.

Q: What's the main objective?
A: The goal is to become the #1 Fan of your favorite brands. Along the way, you can earn points and share exciting rewards with your friends.

Q: What is the Pongr Store?
A: It’s not just for window shopping. The Pongr Store is the place where your virtual earnings in the game can be cashed in for real-life rewards. You work hard spreading the love for your favorite brands – you deserve something special in return!

Q: How do I buy things there?
A: You have a separate Pongr Bank Account for each brand. Points from different accounts cannot be lumped together, but there is no limit to how many brands in which you can earn prizes. Only brands with 50 or more Fans qualify for the store. That means if you want your points to have value, inviting friends (from within or outside the game) to your brand will have a huge payback for everyone.

Q: What can I buy at the Pongr Store?
A: Gift cards to your favorite stores and restaurants, exclusive brand-themed merchandise, iPads, GPS systems, flat-panel TVs and even a chance to heal the world. That’s right, if you happen to be in a charitable mood, you can donate your points to a good cause.

Q: How do I earn points?
A: Every day that you are active in a brand you earn a daily bonus of 1 point for that brand.

Other ways to earn points include:

• Taking a brand photo — Get your friends & family involved as well!
• Sharing a photo on Facebook/Twitter — Share stuff that will entertain others.
• Inviting friends to play — What favorite brands do you have in common?
• When a friend you invited, invites another player to Pongr in the same brand.
• If someone “likes” your photo.

Note: You can earn a max of 150 points each day per brand. These limits include 10 photos, 10 social shares on Facebook and/or Twitter and up to 50 likes per one brand. You will receive a message if you have hit your limit.

Q: How do I pick a virtual brand to work for?
A: Pick a brand you know and love!

Q: How do I get to be a #1 Fan?
A: There are 3 levels of Pongr fandom for each brand. Being a bigger fan is based on how many photos you send! Check the brand leaderboard to see how many photos you need to jump a level.

Q: Can I simultaneously be a Fan of two competing brands?
A: Absolutely! If you have a passion for both McDonald’s and Burger King, go for it.

Q: Can I be a Fan of 3 or 4 brands at once?
A: Just like in real life, there’s no limit to the number of brands you can be a Fan of on Pongr! You can be a Fan of Hello Kitty at the same time as being the #1 Fan of Diesel.

Q: How can I invite players in other brands to Pongr in my brand?
A: In your top navigation, click “invite.” You’ll be able to invite through Facebook, Twitter or email! You can also go to a player's profile and click the "invite" button below their profile photo.

Q: Does my brand need to be a big business?
A: The Pongr game is open to any business that you feel passionate about.

Q: What are Awards?
A: Awards are "badges" you can proudly display on your profile for achieving various milestones in the game and demonstrating exceptional creativity.

Q: Who is the Founder of a brand?
A: The first player to submit a photo of a brand becomes the Founder of that brand. Being the Founder carries special bragging rights & there can be only one.

Q: What is the Leader Board?
A: The Pongr Leader Board is where you can assess your competition. The rankings let you see who is creeping up behind you and moving up the corporate ladder ahead of you. There can be numerous middle managers within your brand, but there will be only one CEO. Imagine the fun of walking into a Best Buy anywhere in the world and letting the staff know that you are the current Pongr/Best Buy CEO!

Q: What are Moderator privileges?
A: The most devoted players in the game will be granted Moderator privileges, which enable you to edit the profiles of each brand. This will include the ability to upload brand logos, add Facebook/Twitter/YouTube links and rotate other player-generated images. All edits are subject to review by a Pongr administrator before going live.

Q: I don’t have a mobile phone camera. Can I still play with my Nikon DSLR?
A: Sure you can! You can play on your laptop or desktop computer and email photos taken with any camera you want.

Q: Should I Facebook every photo I take?
A: No! Be choosy. Share only the photos, info and rewards you think will make your friends smile. Spamming will only backfire. For tips on how to engage your social network in the game without “being a pest,” click here.

Q: After a while, won’t I run out of photos to take?
A: Nope. If your brand is part of your life, you’ll be surprised at how often fun photo-ops come up! For ideas on how to be creative with your photos, click here.

Q: I have email on my phone and I'd like to send photos that way. Do I need to link with my desktop Pongr account?
A: Pongr identifies you by your email address and/or Facebook Connect. No need to link if you're sending photos from the same email on desktop and mobile, we know to attribute the gorgeous photos to you!

If you send photos from a new email or want to start photo-texting from your mobile then sign in to your Pongr account and go to My Settings. You will see instructions of how to link new emails and your phone to your main account.

Q: I don't have email on my phone, but I can send photo-texts. How do you know who I am to credit me properly in the game?
A: The first time Pongr receives a photo from you, we send out a game message and a link to connect with Facebook or register with an email address. Copy the link sent back to you into your desktop browser and sign in or sign up. This will link your mobile phone to your account and track your progress in the game. If you never register, you can still play the game but won't be able to track your progress from your computer.

Q: I have two Pongr accounts. How do I link them together?
A: If you have sent in photos from different emails and/or your mobile phone, you may have a few Pongr accounts. Link them: Sign in to your account on desktop and go to My Settings. In the Get Personal section you will see instructions on how to link your phone or any other email to your account.

If one of your accounts was created by signing in with Facebook Connect, then sign in to that account first and then go to My Settings to link the rest of your accounts.

Don't worry, all photos, awards and perks received from any of the accounts will automatically merge into your final profile.
